Soar Like The Eagles

Did you know God gives His people wings to soar?  It’s true!  By the power of the Holy Spirit, the Lord empowers us to rise above any trouble this world throws at us!  Don’t ever forget that great encouragement!  When you believe in Jesus you are one of God’s children and nothing in our lives is impossible for God to overcome!  Wait on the Lord and He will lift you up!  Your way is not hidden from the Lord.  He loves you and you can trust in His love!

“Do you not know?

Have you not heard?

The Lord is the everlasting God,

the Creator of the ends of the earth.

He will not grow tired or weary,

and his understanding no one can

fathom.

He gives strength to the weary

and increases the power of the weak.

Even youths grow tired and weary,

and young men stumble and fall;

but those who hope in the Lord

will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles;

they will run and not grow weary,

they will walk and not be faint.”

Isaiah 40:28-31

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, whatever you are going through today, remember to wait on the Lord and hope in the Lord and He will renew your strength!  He is the Creator of the ends of the earth and we cannot fathom His understanding!  It is far too great!  We must trust His plan and will for our lives.  The prayer that has given me the greatest peace amidst trials and suffering is simply, “may Your will be done Lord.”  The Lord is everlasting and He does not get tired or weary.  He sees you and He loves you!  He will give you strength, He will increase your power, and you will soar on wings like eagles as you follow Him to victory!  May Your will be done Lord Jesus, Amen!

Grace and peace to you all!

  1. Thank you for the encouraging message, Ryan. This text of Isaiah reminds me of the movie “Chariots of Fire.” Eric Liddell used this passage during a sermon, and it was used as the backdrop for an amazing scene of runners falling and failing. It was very powerful and moving.

      1. Oh Bison burgers! They sell those at a local restaurant, never been brave enough to try. The jury is still out for Sunday. Gotta meet with my boys tomorrow while my husband is out of the house to plan 🙂 In case I miss you, happy Father’s day, Ryan.

      1. Not sure if it’s on the app. If you can do it on a computer, you should see the spam folder in the “comments” link. Sometimes approved comments don’t show up in the notifications, but they go to spam.

      2. I’m sorry I haven’t been able to find your comments. I don’t see any arrows on my computer or phone under the comments, Ryan. Will keep trying. Thanks so much for bringing this to my attention. I will get to the bottom of it somehow! 😄
