A New Day To Rejoice

It has been a rough week and I am very thankful we have a 3 day weekend.  I have had many disagreements this week and I wrote several posts that were very strong.  People who have been reading my blog for a long time know that most of my posts are not political, but sometimes I do speak truth to power regarding political issues.  I am moving forward from the issue I have been talking about the last few days, and today I just want to leave you with a verse and a prayer.

Today is a new day the Lord has made full of possibilities!  God is in control of this day and He has been since before the beginning of time!  Today is a fresh start full of hope!  We have breath in our lungs and we are alive!  May we make it count and make the most of every opportunity God has given us!  May we rejoice and be glad!

“This is the day the Lord has made;

let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

Psalm 118:24

“Lord Jesus, please encourage our hearts and deliver us from evil.  Lift us up and fill our hearts with Your joy!  Make Your love increase and overflow in our hearts for each other and for everyone else, and may we please You in everything we do.  May Your will be done, Lord, amen!”

Have a blessed and peaceful weekend!

Grace and peace to you all!

  1. Important to remember we’re not of this world. We’re Ambassadors for Christ. A house divided can not stand. I think of division as a red flag, may we always strive to share the love of Christ. God is always in control. We don’t ever have to try to defend Him. He will always defend himself. May we walk in the love and peace of Christ Jesus. ❤️✌️🙏

  2. Amen, Ryan. We always have Jesus to rest in and what a blessing it is to have Him and to know that comfort. What a beautiful prayer to gave us to join in with. Love you guys! Have a great 3 day week end, too. Your photo was fantastic.
