Amazing Painting!

First day in Heaven

This painting is so beautiful that I cry just about every time I look at it.  It is called “First Day in Heaven” and it was masterfully painted by an Egyptian Artist named Kerolos Safwat.  I think of my loved ones and friends who have already gone to be with the Lord.  Some of them were so young, and it gives me great peace and joy to think of them in this way!  God bless you all!  Run into the arms of Jesus!  He loves you so much it is incomprehensible!  How beautiful it will be to see Him!  I am going to give him a big ol’ hug!!!

Grace and peace to you all!

“Do not let your hearts be troubled.  Trust in God; trust also in me.  In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I am going there to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.  You know the way to the place where I am going.”

  1. No words are needed to explain this joyous homecoming! The artist captured the feeling perfectly…you can actually feel our love for Jesus in this bear hug, and the elation we dream about of being home! What a cool painting, Ryan!
