Hypocrite Finger Pointers

There was a tweet last night that a Christian brother sent out that was so judgmental, ridiculous, and hypocritical that I called him out on it.  The conversation went fine last night, but this morning he sent out another tweet, so I called him out again.  In the middle of our conversation, he blocked me.  He is the kind of believer that loves to go around hitting people over the head with the Bible and pointing his finger at other brothers and sisters all the time.  He is a hypocrite finger pointer Christian and I can’t stand being around people like that.

Guess you like to dish it out, but you can’t take the heat when it comes your way, huh brother?  I have known this guy for a year and a half and he criticizes and points his finger a lot.  This morning, I was sick of it and I have had enough.  I’m glad he blocked me.  I don’t need hypocritical Pharisee type believers in my life.  Get out of my life and stay out of my life.

Yesterday, this brother accused Christians who speak God’s Truth in the political arena of being “idol worshipers.”  I confronted him by explaining that he should be careful judging other brothers and sisters and accusing them of idol worship.  I explained that God has called some of us into the political arena to speak His Truth to power.  I also gave him the link to my post “Drawing A Line In The Snow” where I talked about the last guy who judged me, and why it’s okay for Christians to serve the Lord and preach the Gospel within the context of political and societal debates.

For crying out loud, you all do know about Franklin Graham, right?  I have great respect for that man!  He is a bold evangelist and he is also bold about speaking truth to power regarding political and societal issues.  His “Decision America” tours are awesome!  He was right about needing to appoint judges who will defend and uphold our Constitution.  That is why so many Christians were being persecuted in this country!  It was the liberal activist judges!  Praise God that Trump has appointed 187 federal judges and 2 Supreme Court justices who will defend our rights and freedom, including the right to worship, pray, and read the Bible!  Trump even signed an act protecting our right to pray in schools, praise God!

After I confronted the brother, he told me “truth is truth” regarding calling people like me idol worshipers.  I told him that him calling me an idol worshiper just because I speak God’s Truth to society regarding politics is not truth.  He thinks he can open his mouth and accuse and judge a brother and call it truth.  He is wrong.  You might want to go read the verses where Jesus talks about don’t judge or you too will be judged and in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, brother.  Accusing someone of idol worship is very serious.

“Do not judge, or you too will be judged.  For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the same measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

Jesus speaking in Matthew 7:1-2

Then, this morning he sends out a tweet saying that he won’t be talking about politics anymore and that Christians who talk about politics on their Twitter are “deceived” and have “forgotten their first love” and added “if He was ever your first love in the first place.”  What an arrogant self-righteous statement!  Who do you think you are?!  You hypocritical judgmental finger pointing believer!  Comments like that make me sick!  Yeah, you are so perfect, bro.  You love Jesus more than anyone else and you are the best!  Arrogant condemning brother.

That brother is always sending out arrogant judgmental tweets like that!  You do realize brother that Christians like you are the reason why people don’t want to accept Christ?  Quit acting like a hypocrite on your self righteous high horse.  Idol worshiper?  Deceived?  Forgot my first love?  Really bro?!  That is why I wrote that post about drawing a line in the snow, because of Christians like you!  Come off it, man!  If that is what you think about me after following my blog and Twitter for a year and a half, then you never knew me at all bro.

I love Jesus Christ with all of my heart and I love Him first.  I think about the miracles He has done in my life every single day.  I cry out to Him for mercy and healing and strength every day as I fight Celiac disease.  You have no idea how much I love and rely on Jesus!  I will follow my Lord wherever He leads me, including into the darkness of the political arena to spread His light and truth, and I don’t care if any of you like it or not.

People don't always like me
“I’m your huckleberry.”

All day yesterday I shared Christ and my testimony on Twitter within the conversations and debates I was having, and I’ve been doing that for a long time.  I sent out a tweet about liberals accusing conservatives about being “deplorables” and how ridiculous that is because they are the ones killing babies and pushing homosexuality.  An unbeliever responded, which led to me sharing my entire testimony with him!  He asked awesome questions about what happened with the demon and why I believed in Jesus and all of it and we chatted for an hour!  Don’t go pointing your finger at me because you are too cowardly to even step into the arena and talk with people who disagree with you or hate you.

God has called me into this dark world to set captives free!  To call unbelievers out of darkness and help them see the light!  If all you want to do is camp out with other believers on Twitter or your blog and have a little judgmental finger pointing party every day, you go ahead.  I’ll be out in the world preaching God’s Truth to those who are perishing!  I hope many more will join me.  We need more workers in the harvest field.

“Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.  Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

Jesus speaking in Matthew 9:37-38

Meeting unbelievers and introducing them to Jesus is what it’s all about!  It’s not about politics!  I don’t know how that brother doesn’t understand that God sends His people into political debates and conversations as they are happening in real time on Twitter and it is a ripe mission field!  I have been having incredible conversations!

Yesterday, I also chatted with a liberal woman about healthcare, sanctuary cities, and the homeless crisis in California.  These are important topics that affect our entire society and many people want to have intelligent conversations and debates about them.  God needs His people out here speaking Truth or else all people will hear is lies.  I was able to share about the evils of socialism and she even agreed that socialist healthcare does not work.  We had a great talk about solutions to the homeless crisis and I was able to share about my faith and the street ministry I’ve done in Denver.

I have not forgotten my first love, I am not deceived, and I am not an idol worshiper!  I am God’s evangelist out here doing what God has called me to do.  I am meeting unbelievers and reaching out to them in love.  I am meeting them where they are at and sharing Christ in the context of political and societal debates.  Watch your lying judgmental tongue, brother.  God will refute every tongue that accuses me and no weapon forged against me will prevail, whether you are a Christian or not!  I belong to Jesus Christ and I serve Him!  Put your pointing finger of condemnation away once and for all.

When I take my faith into society and explain my political views, which are based on the Truth of God’s Word and my faith in Jesus, the Lord uses that to bring His righteousness into the conversation.  We want godly solutions to societal problems, not ungodly ones.  We can’t have atheists, liberals, socialists, and gay agenda folks making all the decisions now can we?  What would happen to society?  Do you think God wants us to just let our country fall into darkness?!  No, He does not!  Stand up and be courageous, and if you don’t want to or God hasn’t called you in that way, don’t go pointing your finger at your brothers and sisters who are in the arena fighting the good fight.  Pray for them and pray for yourself and ask the Lord what He would have you do to help society come to Him.

I am going to say this one more time.  Do me a favor, if you are a Christian that doesn’t like Christians speaking God’s Truth in politics and you point your finger at me, then please go away and don’t come back.  I’ve had enough of it.  I am not here for some ridiculous finger pointing judgmental “holy huddle.”  I published my testimony on Amazon and started blogging and using Twitter because God called me to preach the Gospel, share His Word, and share my testimony with the world.  I always appreciate good fellowship, but my purpose is to share Christ with the lost, and that is what all believers should be doing.  That is what Jesus commanded us to do until the end.

Trump is not my idol and I certainly don’t worship him.  Trump is just a man who needs Jesus just like me.  He is sinful and imperfect, just like me.  I support him because he is a real American who actually loves our country and is truly fighting for us.  He also stands against abortion and he even defunded Planned Parenthood who are the worst murderers of babies ever.  I take God’s Truth into society unashamed.  Do you?  Or are you one of those finger pointing believers who like to talk smack to a brother and condemn him?

Jesus Christ is Lord and there is no other Savior of mankind.  Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords and every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that glorious truth!  God’s Word is Truth, not hate speech, and we must share it with the world.  Be bold and do not be afraid.  God will go with you in power!  Pray, ask Jesus for strength, and say, “Here I am, Lord, send me!”

“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 28:18-20

  1. Good morning brother Ryan, sometimes I can’t help but chuckle when I read some of your bold statements like “hypocrite finger pointers or holy huddle” I even laughed at the pic from the movie Tombstone (still one of my favorite movies). You are his voice on this platform and you are fearless. Continue to proclaim and declare God’s truth. Have a bless day.

  2. “When God speaks, listen”, and since the day you accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior and became a Christian, that’s what you have done, and I know you love Jesus with all your heart. As Christians, there are times we are called by God to go where He wants us to go…to deliver the news of free salvation in far and wide places, and that’s exactly what you are doing for Him, reaching people all over the world with his blessing. These places are not always in the loving comfort of a Church as we know from reading The Bible! As a fellow brother or sister in Christ, we absolutely should be praying for all those who are fighting for souls as you are, Ryan, and who are preaching The Word every day, and by seeking and discussing Godly solutions to the problems we are having in this world. You are where God wants you to be, and I am praying for you as you continue to do God’s work. Amen, Ryan. Love you, Mom

  3. Good day Brother Callahan,

Here is a snippet from James Allen, I think you’ll enjoy. I am NOT saying I practice this, seldom, do men practice this.

I use to allow comments, opinions, remarks, bother me, upset me, and they still do, but not nearly as much anymore…the only approval I need or seek is ALMIGHTY Gods.

I think you have noticed the enemy has been strategizing against you lately using this strategy…stop, and don’t let the enemy reel you in…it happens to all of us.. THERE IS FREEDOM in Jesu Christ, may NO REMARKS incite you, bother you, nor have any effect on you…peoples opinions NO MATTER WHO THEY ARE- ARE POWERLESS….

we live to please ALMIGHTY GOD, BROTHER.

In jesus name, we declare, pray, and testify, Amen.

“The sinner is one whose understanding is undeveloped, and he ignorantly chooses wrong modes of action. The saint is one whose understanding is ripened, and he wisely chooses right modes of action. The sinner condemns the sinner, condemnation being a wrong mode of action. The saint never condemns the sinner, remembering that he himself formerly occupied the same place, but thinks of him with deep sympathy, regarding him in the light of a younger brother or a friend, for sympathy is a right and enlightened mode of action.

The perfected saint, who gives sympathy to all, needs it of none, for he has transcended sin and suffering, and lives in the enjoyment of lasting bliss; but all who suffer need sympathy, and all who sin must suffer. When a man comes to understand that every sin, whether of thought or deed, receives its just quota of suffering he ceases to condemn and begins to sympathise, seeing the sufferings which sin entails; and he comes to such understanding by purifying himself.

As a man purges himself of passions, as he transmutes his selfish desires and puts under foot his egotistic tendencies, he sounds the depths of all human experiences – all sins and sufferings and sorrows, all motives and thoughts and deeds – and comprehends the moral law in its perfection. Complete self-conquest is perfect knowledge, perfect sympathy, and he who views men with the stainless vision of a pure heart views them with a pitying heart, sees them as a part of himself, not as something defiled and separate and distinct, but as his very self, sinning as he has sinned, suffering as he has suffered, sorrowing as he has sorrowed, yet, withal, glad in the knowledge that they will come, as he has come, to perfect peace at last. “

    1. It doesn’t bother me, but I will speak bold truth to it. The brother needed to be corrected, that’s what it was about. Not going to let some Christian point their finger at me and call me an idol worshiper. God bless.
