2 Years Blogging For Jesus

Hello everyone and God bless you all!  We are still doing great in Florida!  We even had our first alligator visit in the canal behind our rental house yesterday!  More on that later though because today is August 10th, 2020.  Two years ago today, the Lord called me to start this blog and I followed His leading.  It has been an amazing two years and a lot has happened in that time!  Thank you to everyone who has supported me, challenged me, prayed for me and my family, and stuck by me!  There are 1,401 souls in 172 countries around the world reading my blog, and I appreciate and pray for each and every one of you!  My prayer for this blog is that it will be a blessing and Jesus uses it to draw people to Himself, amen!

This blog exists to bring glory to His Holy Name by preaching the soul saving truth of the Gospel and His Holy Word to the nations.  I am just one of His servants and it is my calling to dispense the gift of evangelism He gave me, and share my very strange testimony with the world.  Part of that calling is preaching His truth to every part of society, including societal and political issues as well.  If you are new to my blog, know that I cover just about every topic you can think of regarding the Bible and life, and no topic is off the table.  I will preach His truth to it all unashamed with a boldness that offends people at times, even Christians.  I don’t mean to be offensive, but I do mean to be bold and courageous for Jesus and I don’t back down.

The Lord also uses me to field questions from the various emails I receive from around the world.  He does the same with me on Twitter and Parler, although I don’t use my Twitter account much anymore as I moved over to Parler in June.  I enjoy chatting with people and it is a blessing to be able to share the discipleship training and Biblical knowledge that the Lord gave me.  If you ever have questions or need prayer, just let me know.  I will email you back and I will answer you straight, and help with a heart full of compassion and love.  Freely I received the gifts the Lord gave me, freely I give.

If you have never heard my testimony or read my book, here is the quick version.  When I was in 8th grade back in 1991, my family moved to Illinois.  We ended up moving into a house that was possessed by a demon.  We were not Christians back then and I did not grow up going to church.  The demon caused terrifying things to happen in the house, even manifesting itself to my sister, kicking our dog, and making a breathing noise in my ear.  The nightmare lasted the entire 4 years I was in High School.

When I went to college, I met a bunch of great Christians who became my best friends.  I ended up accepting Jesus in October of 1996 at the age of 18.  When I went home that Christmas break, I rebuked the demon out of our house in the Name of Jesus.  The demon left, and my whole family ended up getting saved.

In the summer of 1998, I had two phenomenal encounters with angels that further changed my life.  In the first encounter, I was rescued by an angel and carried away from a man who was chasing me with a knife on the streets of Denver.  In the second encounter, an angel appeared to me while I was sitting in a living room with my two friends.  It told me, “God has something for you to do,” and I simply said, “Okay.”  After that, my friends and I left the house, drove down the street, and ended up helping a woman who was in danger.

Then, if that wasn’t enough, I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease on 1-6-2012.  On 4-28-2012, I went into anaphylaxis and then anaphylactic shock from eating a sandwich with oat bread for lunch that day.  I suffered torturous pain all that day, then that night I stopped breathing.  Just before I died, I cried out, “Help me, Jesus!!!”  I left my body in the Spirit and I was with Jesus in perfect peace where there was absolutely no pain.  I did not see Him, but He spoke to me and said, “It’s okay.”  Moments later, He put me back in my body in the powerful wind of the Holy Spirit and I came back to life.  My wife was praying next to my lifeless body and she witnessed the wind come into my mouth and raise me back to life!  Jesus Christ is Lord!!!  Thank You Jesus!!!

If you would like to read more about my testimony and how to come to know Jesus, please read:

Remember that time when…

or check out my book “One Man’s Very Strange Supernatural Life” on Amazon.  It is free on Kindle Unlimited.  I can also buy the ebook version and give them away for free for residents of the United States.  If you are in the United States and you would like a free ebook copy, just email me through my contact page and I will send you one directly from Amazon.

I don’t know why all these strange things have happened to me and my family, but I do know I am supposed to share it with the world.  Jesus Christ is alive!  Jesus Christ is Lord!  And Jesus Christ loves you!  These are truths I will preach until my very last breath, and I pray with all my heart that everyone reading this comes to know Jesus and His amazing love!

Wherever you are and whatever you do today, please take a moment to read this one very special and famous verse and consider what Jesus said with all your heart, mind, and soul.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Jesus, John 3:16

God loves you and He does not want you to perish!  He wants you to have eternal life, which is His most precious gift through faith in Jesus!  Salvation is a gift of God’s grace to all mankind, and it can only be obtained through faith in Jesus.  No human beings will ever enter Heaven by their own works.  No good works could ever save us.  We must have the Blood of Jesus covering our sins!  Nothing but the Blood of Jesus will ever save us.  We must have faith in Jesus.  Each and every one of us must be forgiven of our sins.

“This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.  There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.”

Romans 3:22-24

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God–not by works, so that no one can boast.”

Ephesians 2:8-9

You receive God’s gift of salvation by receiving Jesus Christ.  We all need a Savior and only Jesus can save us.  He is the only One who ever died for our sins to set us free from sin and death!

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”

Acts 4:12

“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.  As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.”  For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile–the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Romans 10:9-13

Come to Jesus and you will never be put to shame!  Your soul will be saved and you will inherit eternal life!  You will become a redeemed child of God with a soul full of peace!  Your sins will be forgiven and you will be filled with the Holy Spirit who will empower you to live a righteous life that pleases God!

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Jesus speaking in Acts 1:8

“And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation.  Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession–to the praise of his glory.”

Ephesians 1:13-14

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.  Against such things there is no law.”

Galatians 5:22-23

Do you want to be forgiven?  Do you want to go to Heaven?  I hope you do, and I pray you come to the One who loves your soul!  Grace and peace to all those who are seeking truth!  You will find the answers you seek in Jesus!

Our move to Florida has been an amazing experience for our whole family, and we are at peace down here.  We have become even closer and we have grown in our relationship with Jesus individually and as a family.  God is still on the move and I have my eyes fixed on Him as we walk through the parted seas.  I have some updates to share in my next post.  We have been looking at neighborhoods and homes, but haven’t been finding any that fit yet.  God is up to something big though as He recently showed us that we might buy the lot of land right next to us here at the rental property and build our own home on it.  We are very excited to see what the Lord does and how He has us move forward!

We love the privacy and peace of the woods and canal! We are not too far from the Myakka River, so I tell the kids, “Behold, the glory of the Myakka!” God’s glory shines in His jungle creation just as much as it does in the Rockies. Praise God!

Once everything settles down from the move and the kids go back to school, I hope to get back to blogging on a daily basis.  I miss reading everyone’s blogs and chatting with all of you!  I’m not going anywhere.  Just real busy right now building a new life as the Lord leads us.  I am still just as excited to serve Jesus as I start my third year preaching on social media!

Here is a sneak peak at our new friend.  I named him Bubba.  He is at least 10 feet, but maybe 12.  What a beauty!

Yes, we really do have alligators in our backyards down here in Florida, especially if you back up to a canal!  We’re not in Colorado anymore, that’s for sure!  What an amazing life in a fascinating place, praise God!

“Praise the LORD.

Blessed is the man who fears the LORD,

who finds great delight in his

commands.”

Psalm 112:1

Always remember, Jesus loves you, He died for you, and He wants you to be in Heaven with Him forever!

Grace and peace to you all!

    1. Thanks, Alicia! God has really been on the move in our lives and it’s been awesome! Enjoying a light tropical down pour right now. Bubba hasn’t been back to visit since Sunday, but I look for him every day. I appreciate your encouragement regarding being bold. I ruffle some feathers sometimes, but I have to speak the truth for Jesus. It was cool being state neighbors, but we got out of Colorado just in time and so glad we did. We heard there was 9 drive by shootings in Denver the other day and one of the victims was a little kid. The God hating liberals have ruined Denver. So sad. Florida is a place of peace and freedom for our family and we love it! God is so good! God bless!

      1. So sad the hate in this world…I’m thankful Colorado has the Rockies, that is something I can truly appreciate amongst all the chaos that takes place there these days and so many other places…

I’m so excited for you guys!!! I would love to talk nate into moving to Florida one day but I’m not sure it’ll ever happen…it’s definitely one of my most favorite vacation spots!
