A Prayer Against Coronavirus

It has been busy here at the Callahan house since Sunday.  It’s looking more and more like spring around here and we are enjoying it.  I did the spring clean up in the yard today and it felt great being outside.  Thank you all for praying for me!  God has answered by taking away the pain for now and giving me strength, praise God!  Take heart!  The quarantine will be over soon and we will all take a collective deep breath and sigh of relief.  My prayers are with all the families who have lost loved ones due to Coronavirus and with those who are still fighting the illness.  This post is a prayer for those families and a cry to God to stop this virus and bring healing.

“Lord Jesus, we lift up all the families who have suffered the loss of loved ones due to this virus.  Please comfort their hearts and bring them peace.  We pray for those who are fighting the virus and ask that You pour out healing on them.  Protect the nurses and doctors and all the medical staff helping the patients and give them strength.  Please strike this virus down and spread healing and revival through the world!  Pour out Your Holy Spirit on us all and bring peace.  Protect us all from evil people who are trying to use the virus to hurt and control us, and give our leaders wisdom and discernment in fighting the virus.  Spark fires of revival in every human heart on earth, and deliver us from evil!  May Your will be done, Lord, amen.”

God loves you!  Keep your head up and your eyes on Jesus!  Nothing is impossible for God!

  12. So very glad to hear you were out in the yard today feeling so great, Ryan! The smell of the grass and spring air replenishes our spirit. Your prayer to God to strike down this virus and give us strength and healing was a beautiful one and pray to God this ends very, very soon. Ryan, I would like to take the opportunity to ask for prayers from your World Press family for my Aunt Patty, who as I told you the other day, tested for Covid 19. She is in quarantine, in a nursing home in Texas due to Alzheimer’s and I just ask if people would please say a prayer for her and her daughter, Joanna, who of course hasn’t been able to visit her mother for weeks. Joanna works in a grocery store full time, and could use a prayer herself. Thank you so much for your beautiful prayer and encouragement, it was so helpful!
