Bad Move Chick-Fil-A

Chick-fil-a

Ah, Chick-Fil-A!  Just about everybody in America has eaten their delicious chicken sandwiches.  I loved eating there before I was diagnosed with Celiac.  I always got the chicken sandwich with a big order of waffle fries and a chocolate shake.  It was founded on Biblical values and beliefs, but recently the beloved restaurant chain decided to bow down to the gay lobby and retreat in the face of persecution.  Dear Chick-Fil-A, that is a real bad move.

Backing down to the gay lobby is not going to appease them, it will just empower them!  They are not on a mission for rights.  They already have rights.  No, this is about domination for them!  This is about using the gay agenda as a weapon in order to intimidate our country and the world into accepting their sins as normal and right.  They are demanding that depravity and immorality rule the day and they are demanding that we all agree with it and teach it to our children!

This goes much deeper than some chicken sandwiches!  They are waging war against God Himself as they violently demand that God and His Word be eliminated from society!  They are trying to redefine what is right and wrong according to their atheism and immorality, and we see the destruction from the evil seeds they plant in our country every day!

Who cares what the gay lobby thinks?!  Who cares if they don’t like the Christian ministries you give money to!  Who cares if they won’t eat at your stores!  Who cares if certain towns won’t allow your stores to open!  Stand up for Jesus and don’t back down!

Your sales were soaring after you took a stand for God’s definition of marriage, which is between a man and a woman only.  Why back down now?  God was blessing you big time!  What are you so scared of?  Losing a few stores?  Making the gay lobby mad?  Let them be mad and let God deal with them.  If you stand up for the truth in God’s Word, then do that and keep doing it and don’t back down!

“Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.

The man said,

“This is now bone of my bones

and flesh of my flesh;

she shall be called ‘woman,’

for she was taken out of man.”

For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.”

Genesis 2:22-24

I have had enough of the sickening gay lobby with their 60+ genders and transgender insanity!  Enough!  I mean really, even if you are not a Christian, is that what you want?  You want the disgusting gay agenda to rule the world?!  Give me a break!  Men are still men and women are still women just as God made us, no matter what the gay lobby says!

We are living in a time when people are trying to call good evil and evil good.  They say God’s Word is hate speech.  They say Christians are bigots.  They say the gay tranny men that want to use women’s bathrooms and dressing rooms are the good guys.  They say they are the right ones and we who believe in Jesus are wrong.  Folks, now is not the time to be retreating in the face of persecution!

It is not hateful to tell someone they need to repent of homosexuality or else they will not inherit the Kingdom.  It is the truth from God’s Word and it is the most loving thing you could do to warn them!  Christian music artist Lauren Daigle was once asked what the Bible says about homosexuality.  Lauren unfortunately did not answer with God’s Word.  Here is what the Bible says:

“Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God?  Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.”

1 Corinthians 6:9-10

And what does the very next verse say? What is your only hope for freedom and forgiveness?  How can you inherit Heaven?

“And that is what some of you were.  But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”

1 Corinthians 6:11

There is still hope and you can still turn from your sins!  Jesus will forgive you and you can inherit the Kingdom of Heaven!  Telling a homosexual (or anyone for that matter) that powerful truth is incredibly loving, it is not hateful!  I am a sinner too!  I need Jesus because I need my sins forgiven too!  All of us have sinned and that is why Jesus died for us!  Jesus is Lord and He is our Savior!

“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.”

Romans 3:23-24

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Romans 6:23

“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Romans 10:9

So what if people hate us!  They hated Jesus first.  So what if they call us bigots.  God’s Word is the truth and we must stand firm in it.  Either you believe in Jesus Christ or you don’t.  Jesus told us they would hate us, so rejoice that you bear His Name and suffering!

“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.  If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own.  As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.  That is why the world hates you.”

Jesus speaking in John 15:18-19

Your founder believes in the Bible and has donated to Christian groups for many years.  The gay lobby attacked you because you support God’s standard for marriage.  Now they are attacking you because you support Christian ministries that stand firm in God’s Word.  You were standing strong, but now you are retreating because they don’t like the Christian ministries you give to, and now you are allowing the gay lobby to tell you how it is regarding where you give your money to charity.

Man, you just got beat over the head and bullied into submission by a group of people who hate God and hate you for loving God…and now you are handing over your lunch money too!  What is this, the Middle School playground?!  Insane!  I suggest you get back up quick and keep supporting Christian groups!  Stand up for your beliefs!  Stand up for Jesus!

You are acting like you are ashamed of Jesus and the Bible.  Are you ashamed of Him and His Word?  I’m not going to stop loving Jesus just because the gay lobby hates me for loving Him.  Let God deal with them.  Pray for them and wipe the dust off your feet and move on.  You just keep standing firm in Christ!

I believe your sales will suffer for making the choice to turn against God’s Word in order to appease the gay lobby.  I hope that you repent and turn back to following Christ with boldness and joy!  Chick-Fil-A is a great restaurant for families, especially families with little kids.  Don’t ruin your entire business because of the evil threats of a very small and depraved segment of our society.  The gay lobby doesn’t run this country, so stop acting like they do!  Stop giving them more power!  Backing down to a bully doesn’t stop the bullying.  You must stand your ground and fight the good fight in Christ!

“But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.  Fight the good fight of the faith.  Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.  In the sight of God, who gives life to everything, and of Christ Jesus, who while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I charge you to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which God will bring about in his own time–God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see.  To him be honor and might forever.  Amen.”

1 Timothy 6:11-16

Take hold of Jesus and stand up for Him!  Jesus Christ is Lord and every knee will bow to Him and every tongue will confess that truth!  Stand firm as we approach the appearing of our Lord and Savior!  He is coming soon!

Grace and peace to you all!

  1. A little long for the blogosphere (meant constructively), but I agree wholeheartedly with you. You so eloquently capture what God’s Word says. So well put, brother. Well written. I share your indignation. Thank you for having the courage to speak out! The devil really hates it, but I would just betcha’ your words are pleasing to God almighty. You speak the Truth! God bless you, man…

    1. Amen! 😂 If you think that is long, just wait until I pump out one of my 3,000 word Bible studies! This one is actually fairly short. My posts are as long as God wants them to be sir. It’s the truth from God’s Word that matters. God bless you!

  2. Hi, Ryan! I just wish to let you know that your concerns about Chick-fil-A are unnecessary. What you are concerned about is simply a matter of the news media giving out mis-information and that information most likely resulted because a reporter didn’t understand Chick-fil-A’s organizational structure. Chick-fil-A runs its charitable contributions through its charitable branches–LifeShape and WinShape. Both LifeShape and WinShape are Chick-fil-A and both those arms are administered by Dan Cathy’s (CEO) brother and sister. And in fact, Chick-fil-A is still giving to both the ministries in question through Chick-fil-A’s charitable branches, LifeShape and WinShape. Thus, Chick-fil-A still supports the Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. They have not caved to pressure from special interest political groups as you state here in your blog. I know that you are gathering your information from the news media so I don’t blame you for not knowing this. However, I personally do know the truth because my husband owns a Chick-fil-A (CFA) Franchise and one of his very best friends is a Vice President for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). Indeed, my husband has helped cultivate a ministry partnership between FCA and LifeShape (CFA’s international charitable branch). And I know for a fact that CFA is still giving to the Salvation Army and will continue to give. So, please, I humbly ask that you and your readers do not buy into the enemy’s attempts to tarnish Chick-fil-A through the media’s mis-reporting and mis-information. Sending all my best to you and yours, Ryan! Happy Thanksgiving!

    1. Hi Lynn! I didn’t know that about your husband. That is a blessing!

I understand what you are saying about the media, but this is the truth. It’s all over the internet. Franklin Graham was talking about it on Twitter today too. They caved to pressure from the LGBTQ and Chick-Fil-A came out with a statement saying they will no longer support FCA or SA. They will still donate to other faith based groups and be closed on Sunday, but they said what they said. I am not “buying into the enemy’s attempts to tarnish Chick-Fil-A.” They came out and said what they said. It was not misinformation or misreporting.

They said they would no longer be donating money to FCA or SA. If it wasn’t true, then why did the company say it? I do good research and I am not someone who jumps the gun because of something the liberal media said. I recommend people do their own research. I support Chick-Fil-A and I am in no way trying to tarnish their name. I am encouraging them in the faith to not back down.

Hope all is well with your painting. Happy Thanksgiving to you all as well! God bless!

    2. Lynn, I hope you don’t mind me replying to your comment. If these allegations (from many sources) are untrue, it would behoove CFA to make a public statement. However, it doesn’t appear they have as of today. Also, many of the articles I’ve read are not speaking poorly about the company. Most seem only to be reporting their intentions to no longer support these two charities, after many years of annual support. Again, it would be nice to see CFA as a corporation make some kind of public statement as very few people are privileged to know the information you have presented. Thank you, Dee

    3. Thank you, Lynn. I would like to know more about this as even the more conservative outlets are reporting the same thing. I know we all love people who are gay – it’s the bullying that’s just so disgusting anymore.

  3. I just read the article you sent and this is despicable. I’ve also read a few other articles relating to the same issue and I cannot in good conscience continue to support Chick-Fil-A. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Blessings.

    1. You’re welcome. 🙂 By the way, I am not trying to tarnish CFA’s name as Lynn was talking about. I agree with you that CFA should come out and say something if it is how Lynn explained. I don’t want Christians to boycott CFA. I don’t want people to think that was my point. I just wanted to encourage them to stand strong.

  4. Felt so much emotion reading this.
It is no longer about rights but domination.
The other tine was teaching it in schools about how same sex is normal and okay.
It is bad enough you are shoving the so called movement in our faces but to bring your twisted notions and twist our children’s mind is just plain despicable.
Now this! It is a shame the company gave in to it. Very big shame.

  5. Lynn’s information was helpful to know about the charitable arms of ChickFilA, and I sincerely hope they continue to support whichever Christian organizations (like the Salvation Army) that they wish to contribute to, and not feel bullied into giving money to groups like LGBQT. Nobody or no company should be smacked and shouted down for believing in God and living out what they believe He wants from Christians…this still is a free country! I pray they don’t cave in and begin donating to any group that is against God! Amen, Ryan. I feel your sentiment wholeheartedly…every word! Praise God. God Bless our country in these upside down times we are living in, and all those who stand up for Our Sovereign God.

  6. I believe that Lynn’s comment is true and that the media (along with the alphabet soup groups) are twisting the truth to make it appear that they have won some kind of victory. Although the corporation has recently made a point of saying that some of their contributions go to charities that serve the needy without inquiring into their gender and their preferences, this does not mean that they are cutting off support to the Salvation Army or FCA. J.

    1. It is a fact that on Monday CFA came out and said they would no longer be supporting FCA or SA, that’s all I know. The decision came after LGBTQ protests, which were causing airports to ban CFA restaurants.

I do not trust the media either and I am well aware of the media’s liberal bias. CFA said what they said. It wasn’t twisted. They said it and the Christian community reacted. Has nothing to do with the media. Sounds like CFA needs to make a statement based on what Lynn was talking about.

Thanks for the comment J, God bless.

  7. I would like to be a fly on the wall and eavesdrop about what goes on in the corporate side of the franchise. I am trying to make sense in this change of policy. It is a real shame if that is the route they decide to take because of social media pressure.

  8. I felt so heartbroken last night I literally cried. So tired of it all. Also, Ellen didn’t ask Lauren, it was a guy on a podcast who I think wanted to get her in trouble because he is gay. This morning I was on YouTube and a channel my young daughter watches about snakes was apologizing for saying only women have periods. 😩😩😩 I had to delete YouTube on my phone so my daughter can’t see that channel anymore. She is five and I don’t want her having this shoved at her at such a young age so she sits there wondering if she’s a boy or a girl. This world is sick and the faster Jesus comes back the better.

    1. You know what, I remember watching her on Ellen, but you are right, Ellen didn’t ask her that. It was an iHeart radio interview after she had appeared on Ellen’s show. The guy asked her if homosexuality was a sin and Lauren said she didn’t know. I will fix my post, thanks!

      1. No problem and I wasn’t bothered you had it wrong. It all happened around the same time and I only knew because I happened to see a story about it all around that time and listened to the interview. He asked if in a really weird way and I think she should have answered it differently but she admitted she was questioning it all herself and wished she could have a definitive answer. Not great but she is pretty young and it’s really hard sometimes to respond on the spot when someone is pressuring you that way.

  9. Well done Ryan. This post is worth the length. I could not put it down. I can sense your passion and this is how all of us as Christians should be. Many are bowing to persecution. We are living in the last days where Satan is trying to change time, season and God’s law. We need to unite to overcome him.

      1. Hi, what culture wants all of us including Chick Fill A is to bow don down and say “Ceaser is lord”, not Jesus is Lord the culture hates Jesus and us and doesn’t want us to say Jesus is Lord when the truth is Jesus is Lord!

    1. Thanks for the prayer! Based on your comment regarding keeping our words few, did you say that because you disagree with something I said? Please feel free to expand directly if you have something to say. Otherwise, not sure why you would say that. I spoke the Truth of God’s Word boldly and my mission is to glorify Jesus Christ in everything I write on my blog. I won’t back down from speaking God’s Truth to our society that has gone insane and become depraved.

If your comment was an underhanded comment regarding word count, all I can say is each writer has his or her own style and God gives us each gifts according to His will and good purpose. Some of my posts are longer and some are shorter, but if word count is what people are paying attention to in a post like this, then you are missing the point.

Yes, I am a temple of the Holy Spirit through my faith in Jesus Christ and I submit to Him every day. May His will be done with the words He leads me to write on this blog. Jesus has all authority over me and this blog.

God’s love and blessings to you as well 🙂

      1. Ryan, I struggle with what to say… I wonder who might come to Christ by words against our brothers and sisters in Christ. I have learned by a very painful path that the “Righteous” wrath I used on others, believers and non-believers, did not please our Lord. And actually caused great destruction, as well as death to the faith of those who were in a fragile place to begin with. I hear what you say, “stand up for Christ!! Tell the truth, demand action” You see the “Right” way of things yet I am not sure if this method will be most effective. I’ve already said too much. Thank you challenging me to be direct. And have a blessed day.

      2. To be clear, I am not speaking words against my brothers and sisters in Christ. I am just admonishing them to stand firm in Christ, which is Biblical. I wrote this from an urging of the Spirit to speak truth to society regarding these issues. Thank you for you comments. Grace and peace to you.

  10. Ryan, this is a fantastic article. It’s just unfortunate that Chick-Fil-A has backed down to the bullying tacticts of the Gay lobby like so many others have. Being tolerant of the Gay lifestyle doesn’t mean we also have to agree with them, but they don’t care. They want to have their cake and eat it too. If they can’t get their cake then they want to shut the Baker down.

It’s funny how they can’t tolerate a God who loves them despite their sinful lifestyle, and want to eliminate him altogether. Ironically they preach the need for tolerance but have none for those who disagree with them. As Christians, we all need to stand firm in our beliefs and and start speaking up with the same vigor for God and our right to worship wherever we want.

    1. P.S. Back on December 13th, I wrote a post giving kind of a Christian state of the union address about where we are at politically, spiritually, and socially in America. I actually wrote it the day I found out about the release of that sick Netflix show about a gay Jesus. I’m glad you talked about that in your post! I pray the Lord spreads revival and healing through our country and the world! The liberal madness has to stop! Here is the post:

      1. Thanks for linking the post, I’m looking forward to reading it. We OWE to our kids to leave this world in a better place than we came into it. Too many people say it is impossible. Well, through the eyes of man and in the presence of man it is impossible. Through the eyes of God, in the presence of God nothing is impossible and ALL things are possible.

I do not hate anyone I hate sin because I hate what God hates. We must continue to stand up for Jesus and he will continue to defend us. God bless you.
