So Thankful

The sun is going down here in Colorado and it will be traveling to the other side of the world now giving heat and light to my friends overseas.  Enjoy it!  It was almost 60 here today and I enjoyed it very much.  This post is a bit late, so I will keep it short and sweet.  I have been trying to write a post all day, but errands must be done at times.  As I watch the setting sun tonight, I just want to say that I am so thankful to God for everything He has done in my life!  He is the God who performs miracles and wonders and He is worthy of our praise!

Despite Celiac and all I have suffered, the joy in my heart from knowing Jesus and being filled with the Holy Spirit is all consuming!  I just want to stop and give the Lord some praise!  Thank You for another day Lord!  Thank You for the breath in my lungs!  Thank You for saving me when I stopped breathing!  Thank You for never leaving me!  Thank You for being merciful to me even in Your discipline!  Thank You for treating me as a son You love!  Thank You for Your forgiveness and grace!  I am forever grateful to You Lord, may Your will be done, amen!

I love worshiping the Lord!  I did a post about Kanye yesterday.  I have been listening to his album all day and giving Jesus big praise.  Here is an awesome video of Kanye and his Dad on Kanye’s 4,000 acres in Cody, Wyoming.  That’s not too far from us actually.  This is a really cool music video and I love his outdoor toys and watching them play in the snow.  I love ATVs, trucks, and all that, so this is fun to watch.  The vehicle with the giant tires is awesome!  Kanye is like us mountain men!  His Dad is a strong believer and has been for a long time.  So cool to see their family’s joy.  It’s amazing how Jesus changes people’s hearts!  The song is called “Follow God.”  I love the honesty in the song and the beat is sweet, enjoy!

Thank You Jesus for everything!  Thank You for saving my soul!  Thank You for dying for the whole world!

  5. It is beautiful and fantastic how Jesus changes our hearts! Your praise for God and thankfulness for Jesus filled my heart, Ryan. Thank you. I feel the same, I just can’t find the words like you do, so your messages always lift my spirit as I pray along with you. What a glorious sunset you had, beautiful photos! The video of Kanye and his Dad was good to watch. I liked so many parts of the video, your right, his toys were something else, what fun!! The scene where Kanye had his back to us dancing…I thought he must be so happy praising God for all those acres of open country and all it will bring to his family and friends…”For I know the plans I have for you” Jeremiah 29:11. Awesome! Another scene that struck me was was when he and his Dad were standing together and his Dad obviously said something that made Kanye laugh…the look he gave his Dad while laughing was one of admiration, loved that. So cool that Kanye has been put on his path to change hearts, and so cool that Jesus loves us so much to do that. You wrote an awesome post, Ryan. I love you very much, Your Mom

    1. Amen Mom, glory to God! Yeah, it is awesome seeing so much joy on his face and seeing the love between them! God is so good! Kanye said his Dad has been a Christian marriage counselor for a long time. Imagine all the prayers his Dad prayed for him. Praise God! The love Jesus pours out on us is so amazing! Love you!

    2. P.S. One of the most amazing things to see with Kanye is that he is at peace now. You can see the peace and humility of Jesus in him. The man is at peace and it is beautiful! By the way, he and I are from the same generation. He is 42 and I’m 41. Just a couple middle aged Gen Xers preachin’ for Jesus!
