All Aboard!

Pic quote John 3 v 16 train

Don’t ever forget that powerful truth!  God loves us so much that He died for us on a cross, so that we could be saved from death and be with Him forever!  Get on that glory train to Heaven folks!  You never know when your very life might be right on the edge of a cliff.  Hear God’s call to repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is near and don’t miss the train!  Jesus is the way to eternal life!  All aboard!!!

A man my Dad worked with just passed away from a heart attack yesterday.  He was only 32 years old and he was in great shape, but heart attacks at a young age are part of his family history.  My cousin just had a heart attack a couple days ago too.  He survived and they were able to put stints in his arteries.  He is 53 years old.  My Great Great Grandpa was killed by lightning at the age of 49 in 1913 while trying to put the horses in the barn during a bad storm.  They found him with a hole in his hat and the hole was still smoking from where the lightning had hit him in the head.

How much time will we get?  Only God knows the answer to that question.  I stopped breathing and died for a short time at age 33, but God saw fit to do a miracle and bring me back.  I am 40 now.  I have no idea how much more time I have, but I pray I use it wisely to please God!

That photo is of the Narrow Gauge Railroad here in Colorado.  They take people on scenic tours through Durango and Silverton.  You can check them out at Durangotrain.com.  That narrow railroad along the cliff reminds me of the narrow road to Heaven.  There is only one way to Heaven and that way is through faith in Jesus Christ.  Any other way and you fall off the cliff.

“Enter through the narrow gate.  For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.  But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”

Jesus in Matthew 7:13-14

“I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.  He will come in and go out, and find pasture.  The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

Jesus in John 10:9-10

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God–not by works, so that no one can boast.”

Ephesians 2:8-9

Please consider this truth from God’s Word with all of your heart, mind, and soul and be saved!  God does not want you to perish!  He loves you and He wants you to have eternal life through faith in Jesus!

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness.  He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”

2 Peter 3:9

“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Romans 10:9

“for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Romans 10:13

“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me.”

John 14:6

Jesus loves you and He is inviting you to Heaven!  None of us know when our last breath will be!  Walk the narrow road of faith in Jesus and be saved!

Grace and peace to you all!

  1. Oh, I pray those who read your post, Ryan, will want to recieve God’s gift of eternal life right now, and open their heart to Jesus! Amen. A blessed life is waiting for them. 2. Amen, Ryan! This is a great post. You’re right, none of us knows the day or hour when we will enter eternity. The only decision we get to make about that, is whether or not we will be ready to meet our creator. God bless.

    1. Amen! When I was in college there was a janitor in our dorm who used to be a member of the Hell’s Angels biker gang. It was awesome he got saved out of that violent lifestyle. He would talk to us about Jesus and he would say, “there’s an elevator going up and an elevator going down and I’m on the one going up!” 😊 God bless!

      1. When I was 15, I had an very bad reaction to a medication that I was given. I felt my spirit float up out of my body as I collapsed on the floor. Two nurses ran over and knelt beside my body. I was floating above them, looking down at the top of their heads.

I heard one nurse say “I can’t find a pulse.” I heard the other one say “Her lips are blue.”

Then, with a tremendous jolt, I went back into my body. My heart resumed beating and I was breathing again.

I don’t know how that happened, but I am so grateful. Because I was not spiritually ready to die at 15. But today, I know that Christ is my Lord and my Savior and I will live eternally with Him.

    1. Thank you Renee! I appreciate that! Would love to hear about your experiences too. I have had a very weird life, but I am thankful for everything the Lord has done. Nothing is impossible for God and He can do anything at anytime. God bless!

      1. You are welcome, Ryan. The Bible is full of weird experiences! A donkey talked. A sea parted. An ax floated on water… Some people today want to put limits on God. And also, if the devil did evil things back in the Bible days, he is sure still up to his tricks today. If those things happened back then, good and evil, they surely still happen today. I think you are brave to tell them! I usually just share mine when the opportunity permits.

    1. Thank you! No, I didn’t take that photo. It would be cool to take that train ride and get photos though! That is crazy about the cow–poor thing. You are right, when it’s our time it’s our time and that’s that. 🙂 God bless!
