Dee’s Questions
Q: What advice would you like to give to your 10 year old self?
A: Yes, God is real! Jesus really does exist, He is alive, and He loves you! Receive Him now, so you can rebuke that demon the very second you move into your new home in Illinois in 3 years. Yes, that move will be hard, but when you know Jesus you will have the power to have victory over your challenges. It will make it much easier not living with a demon, so be sure to know Jesus and rebuke that evil out of the house in the Name of Jesus! Don’t live with it all through high school! One more thing, stop hanging out with thugs and do the right thing. You have friends that care about you who want to do good. Go hang out with them. Also, keep your eyes on Jesus. He loves you and He is going to work everything out for your good. One more thing, I love you!
Q: What is your goal in life?
A: To be a faithful soldier for Jesus by submitting to His will to fulfill the Great Commission, a faithful husband to my wife, and a faithful father to my children.
Q: If they produced the story of your life, what genre would it be?
A: Man, my life has been crazy! Angels, demons, Holy Spirit miracles, and more! The genre would be part supernatural thriller part action film and part drama with a little romance! Yep, thank You Jesus, amen!
Q: Are you happy with what’s happened in your life so far?
A: There are things I would like to do over, but I have learned from all of my mistakes and grown from them. I have been married for 17 years to the same woman I fell in love with in college. We have two awesome kids who are having a great time growing up in a peaceful neighborhood, and we are very thankful to God for it all. Of course I didn’t like being diagnosed with Celiac seven years ago and there are days I still struggle with the disease, but God has been so good and faithful to me and my family and He always lifts us up. He has brought great healing to my body from where I was on 1-6-12, and He has given us peace and blessing after seeing us through terrible suffering. Thank You Lord! I am so thankful that He chose to use me to share my testimony and publish a book through me (One Man’s Very Strange Supernatural Life) and I am so thankful for this blog! So, yeah, looking back on all my amazing memories of growing up in Colorado, my time in college where I accepted Jesus, preached on campus, and met my wife, outdoor adventures like climbing mountains and snowboarding, starting a family (seeing our daughter and son born was amazing), all the supernatural experiences, and everything that has happened in the last 22 years following Jesus, I would say I’m happy with what’s happened in my life so far. Thank You Jesus for everything you have done for me in my 40 years on earth!
Q: What Marvel superhero would you love to be?
A: I absolutely loved Spider-Man when I was a kid! I had a Spider-Man chair and a Spider-Man big wheel. I still love that character, so I’m stickin’ with good ol’ Spider-Man! It would be awesome to climb and swing through buildings like that! I would have a lot of fun fighting crime and protecting people in that rad suit! So cool!

“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.”

Amen, Ryan. I love you dedicated your Mystery Blogger Award to Jesus and I sure enjoyed reading your answers. I especially liked your answer on the question of what kind of story would be produced of your life, you were spot on with your movie adventure …”Mel Gibson where are you? You better read Ryan’s book!” Great post!

That’s funny, thanks Mom! Glory to God! I actually sent a copy of my book to Mel Gibson a few months ago! 😄 I sent it to his production company in California. Haven’t heard back, but God can do anything! Told him I wasn’t looking for any money or fame. Just wanted to get the truth out and thought it would make a good movie and that he would do a good job with it. Love ya Mom!

Who can you see as playing you?
LikeLiked by 1 person
Great question, not sure. I’m not too familiar with all the young actors now. They would be playing me as I was in high school, college, and my early 30s (when I stopped breathing). It would be somebody young or who looks young. Leonardo DiCaprio could play the college and early 30s me, but it would probably be better to get a less known actor. I hope someday ol’ Mel contacts me back! 🙂 Nothing is impossible for God! God bless!

I hope it is made into a film. If it’s meant to happen, it will happen. I’ve never watched a Leo DiCaprio film.

Thanks, amen! I’ve liked Leo as an actor over the years. The Revenant (from 2015) was intense! He did great in that one.

I’ve heard of “The Revenant”. Wasn’t Will Poulter in it as well?
LikeLiked by 1 person
Yes, he was good in it too. Cool survival story. Definitely a violent movie though.

Will Poulter is a great actor. I’ve only seen him in “Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader”, and I love his performance in it. He was the best actor in that movie. I’ve been interested in other movies of his – The Maze Runner movie trilogy.

Our whole family loves the Narnia movies. Maze Runner is cool too.

I love the Narnia movies. I’ve only read the books, but I really wanna’ see the movies. What about the Hunger Games movies?

Yeah, I liked The Hunger Games and the Divergent movies.

I am interested in the Divergent movies, but have lost some interest in it because of something I read about it, but I can’t remember what.

How violent and scary are the Hunger Games movies? Do they show much of the deaths and violence, or is most of it off camera?
LikeLiked by 1 person
It’s pretty mild. There are lots of fight scenes, but I don’t remember them being grotesque. They are like teen action/romance movies, but cooler.

You’re welcome, love your blog! Thank you! It would be awesome having those super powers! 🙂 God bless!

I’ve always wanted super powers – I think I even asked God/Yah something along the lines of “May I please have super powers?” LOL. I think it would be cool to be able to run fast, be able to go through harrowing ordeals and come out without a scratch, save the world, etc.

Yeah, me too! Grew up with all the Marvel characters. I had a ton of comic books! Still have a bunch of them too! Praise God we have the power of the Holy Spirit–that’s the real super power! Blessings!

Congratulations to you and your nominees! Enjoyed your answers. Like the answer to the Marvel question. If I was to answer that, I would pick Black Widow. In fact, I recently took an online “what-Marvel-character-are-you?” quiz and the results were that I was most like Black Widow. So I’m happy 🙂
