Many of you have shown pictures of yourself, so I thought I would share a photo of myself. I have been blogging since August 10, 2018 and I don’t have many photos showing my face. I am usually either wearing sunglasses or a hat or my face is turned. I am an introvert by nature, so that has been on purpose. Showing myself is like being on stage in front of a crowd. I have always been uncomfortable getting my picture taken. I’m actually pretty nervous posting this. I just want to be in the background and disappear. I was always the guy who sat in the back of the classroom and stayed quiet. It was challenging when God called me to preach the Gospel on stage almost every Friday night at Campus Crusade for Christ during my entire 4 years in college! Praise God for the power of the Holy Spirit! So anyway, I need a haircut, but here I am. Hello and God bless you all! Most people don’t believe I am 40. Had some people at a shop we go to tell me I looked 25. Funny, I’ve always looked younger than my age. If they only knew all I’ve been through in 40 years!
I come from mostly Irish and German ancestry and we even have a little Seneca Native American in us due to a German ancestor (on my Mom’s side) marrying a Seneca Princess. I have gained weight in the last week and I am around 144 pounds right now! Thank you all for your prayers, God is answering them!
I am a pretty chill and gentle guy. I hate fighting and conflict, but as you know I can get feisty at times. I do have that Irish in me after all! Above all else I love Jesus with all my heart and I am not ashamed of Him! I rest in His grace and mercy every day as I lead my family in Christ and I belong to Him! May His will be done in all things!
Grace and peace to you all! Don’t ever forget that God is love and He loves you!
“Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.”
1 Corinthians 1:3
Quite a handsome guy you are. Thank you for sharing.:))

Cool! I have quite a bit of Irish blood, too (my second-largest nationality, behind English).

LOL! Same to you. My great-grandad was Irish, as was his father-in-law (my great-great-grandfather). And I have Irish scattered in other lines of my ancestry.
Cool seeing what you look like. You DO look younger than you are! (Many have told my Dad the same thing – thinking he’s in his 40s, when he was in his 60s [he’s now 70].)

Thanks! Cool, that’s good news for me when I reach my 60s and 70s, God willing! 😊

Back to our movie discussion: what about “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves” and “Jumanji”?

Oh yeah, definitely! Robin Hood is classic Kevin Costner! That came out the same year we moved into the haunted house. I was in 8th grade. Jumanji is great! I miss Robin Williams. The new Jumanji was good, but the original is the best! I was in high school when that came out. It came out in 1995 and I graduated in ’96. My kids love that movie! Love all the animals.

Prince of Thieves is my favourite Robin Hood. I especially like the Extended Version, mainly due to its interesting plot devices/subplots (one of the main ones being that the Sheriff of Nottingham AND the other nobles plotting with him to overthrow King Richard are all secretly satanists who masquerade as Christians; effectively pitting evil satanists against flawed but good Christians – very politically incorrect).
I’ve never seen the original Jumanji – but I LOVE the new one! Probably my favourite Dwayne Johnson role.

I’ve never seen the extended version, but that plot sounds interesting. It’s just like real life with the NWO traitors who serve the evil one (i.e. the Illuminati, the pope and his minions, the royals, & the banking power families). Yeah, we liked the new Jumanji too. Gotta see the original though! 😊

Yes, that’s why I liked the Extended Versions plot – it so mirrors real life! Not even the clergy are exempt in the film.
There was an interesting remark about pagan religions in the film. The noblemen are clearly shown as satanists – you’re shown scenes of them worshipping in front of an upside down cross and even a pentagram (“worshipping” meaning standing with the head bowed, quietly chanting; nothing compared to the worship in Temple of Doom), yet a remark is made that the Celts “share our god”, hinting that all pagan religions are ultimately tied to satan. Unlike many other films, everything to do with witchcraft and the occult (and of course satanism) is portrayed as very evil.

Cool! Good name from Celtic origin meaning “Little King or Little Ruler.” 🤗

It’s his middle name, which we call him by, since he has the same first name as his father. I’ll have to tell him what it means. He’ll get a chuckle out of that since it suits his personality.
