One Of My Favorite Songs

Good morning everyone.  Thank you all for your prayers and encouragement yesterday.  I spent a long time yesterday just listening to all my Lecrae albums.  I want to share one of my favorite songs from his album titled “All Things Work Together” called “I’ll Find You.”  It is a song for those dealing with suffering and loss.  I pray it encourages you like it encourages me.  I want you all to know that I’m just going to keep going and following Jesus wherever He leads me.  I may be broken and beat down, but I am not forsaken.  I know God loves me.  He loves all of us.  God bless you all in everything you are and everything you do.  Through Jesus we have great strength and peace to help us in our time of need.  I might not understand it all, but I know I can trust Him.

Grace and peace to you all!  Thanks for not giving up on me!  Thank you all for your compassion, love, and support!

Your friend and brother in Christ,

Ryan

“Surely it was for my benefit that I suffered such anguish.  In your love you kept me from the pit of destruction; you have put all my sins behind your back.”

Isaiah 38:17

  1. Ryan, my husband deals with similar issues and I always wish that I could just touch him and heal him, and I wish I could do the same for you. But I will be praying that God gives you the strength to endure what He’s called you to and that someday He will bring complete healing to your body. Bless you, brother.

  2. Your post yesterday moved me to tears. My heart goes out to you and I won’t even try and pretend I totally understand, because I can’t….I am not walking in your shoes with that type of illness. What I can say is how much your honesty moved me in ways only a Christian could understand. I have found myself to the point periodically throughout my adult life where I have cried out to God and told Him I am ready to go home. Enough is enough and then I feel horrific guilt and chide myself for letting Him down. I suffer from depression and have it under control, but occasionally it rears it’s ugly head. I am blessed with an incredible family, wife of almost 45 years…three married daughters…great son-in-laws…one granddaughter and a grandson due in three weeks…..had a successful career…a good life with the usual stuff of losses of family and friends too early. My point is that your honesty as a Christian about how you feel, touched me as I understand that part of what your are suffering. With our faith we turn back to our Father and thank Him even when we are angry and hurt…my prayers go out to you Ryan….know that what you are doing does touch people and make a difference….God bless you!!

  3. There are so many caring and loving messages sent to you, Ryan, and I know they mean the world to you, they sure touched my heart I can tell you I appreciated them reaching out to you the way they did. I prayed, your Dad prayed and we want so desparately for you to feel well and happy and have your Celiac wiped away! I cried out to God this morning to please make that happen for my son. Amen.
Ryan, I would like to suggest you see your doctor nutritionist once again (or anothet one) to see what they can suggest with recipes on food ideas that can be made without the things you can not eat, so you can have a variety of ways to eat what you can. I think it would make a difference, it would for me.
    Love you, Ryan

    1. Thanks Mom. There is an amazing group of loving people here on WordPress for sure! Seeing another doctor won’t do anything, but I understand what you’re saying. We talk to the nutritionist lady at Vitamin Cottage sometimes and she has helped a lot. Thanks for your prayers Mom. Love you guys!

  4. Oh I am so blessed by that Scripture you shared, and such a precious song also. We cannot see how, but yet our God finds a way to keep carrying us through it all. Thank you for sharing your heart! You are in my prayers Dear Brother.
