Hello everyone. Thank you for your prayers for my family. My wife and kids are just about over this flu that hit our home hard. Guess what? Now I’m sick! I popped a 102 fever Christmas night and I got sick 5 times throughout the night and Wednesday morning. I am feeling a little better today, but I am still around 100 degrees. I am focusing on the day when their will be no more pain. I am ready for the old order of things to pass away! How about you? I’m sorry I haven’t had the chance to read your blogs. I have a lot of reading to do! I will get caught up when I am feeling better. At least I have enough strength to type this today, so that’s good. Yesterday all I could eat was a few bites of banana and rice, and I couldn’t stop shivering. I can’t take Ibuprofen or Tylenol because of Celiac, so I take White Willow for inflammation and Olive Leaf and Echinacea to boost my immune system. I hope I can eat today. Thank you all for your prayers!
Grace and peace to you all!
Prayed for healing and peace bro!

Feeling better, thanks. No high fever anymore thank God. I am able to eat a little bit. Feels like it’s just about over. I just feel real beat up and tired. I suffer from Celiac Disease every day, which is an autoimmune disorder, so when I get sick it hits me hard. I only weigh around 138-140 pounds and I’m 6’1″ tall, so it’s been painful not being able to eat. I just ate some lunch finally, so that helps. God is good. Thanks for praying.

Thanks brother! I am coming up on my 7 year anniversary of diagnosis on January 6th. I have lived through years of torturous pain and I can still testify that God is always faithful. Grace and peace to you brother.

Not well. I thought things were getting better, but I still had a fever yesterday and my stomach is a mess. My kids are still coughing and I just about got sick again this morning. It makes me angry as I already suffer from Celiac Disease. I am 40 years old and I was diagnosed when I was 33. I almost died on 4-28-12 due to anaphylactic shock. This disease has ruined my life. I can’t work, we are broke and in debt, and I cry out to God every day. My immune system is weak and honestly I just want to go home. I am completely sick of this earth and everything in it. I never asked to be here in the first place. One thing I have always said on my blog is that I will be honest. I am sick of suffering this world. I am totally and utterly sick of it. May His will be done. I hope God takes me home sooner than later. I don’t want to live to see old age. I’m done. I’ve suffered enough. Almost my entire 30s was wasted suffering this disease and I’m still suffering. Thank you for your prayers.

Ryan, I will continue to pray for you, to know the Lord’s presence, His grace, strength and His will. You and Jerry could have some good conversations. Although 82, he has had a tough time for the last 35 years. Being his full-time caregiver gives me an understanding of what you may be experiencing. My heart and spirit cry for you to the throne of grace, praying as you will on my heart daily. I prayed for you and your family again as I lay down last night. The Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting and His truth endureth to all generations. Hold tight what you have in Christ, considering His suffering for us. Blessings as you wait for HIm.

Thanks Kirt. It’s real bad. I am on day 5 and my little girl has had it for 11 days now. We took her to the doctor and now she has bronchialitis too. They said she does not have pneumonia, which was good news. Thanks for praying!

Thank you. Our daughter is doing a little better, and my wife and son are better, but I am not. I have been having a rough time on top of everything else I already deal with due to Celiac. I’m down to 132 pounds. It is really frustrating. I have been nauseous thousands of times over the last 7 years and I feel beat down and broken. To be honest I am thinking about stopping blogging and shutting down my Twitter. I’m not going to be phony and I must admit I am angry about all of the suffering and having a hard time praying. I have prayed for healing every day since I was diagnosed on 1-6-12. On 1-6-19 that will be 2,555 days of suffering and prayer to be healed. I am totally sick of suffering and living with Celiac. Thanks for praying.

Ryan, I am sorry to hear of your continued health struggles. If you feel so led, there may be wisdom in perhaps taking a break from the social media and simply focusing on your health. I know that our situations are not the same, but if you recall, I did something similar back in November.
Sometimes, we just need to power everything off for awhile (not necessarily permanently, unless you feel God leading you to do so) and simply experience the storm in which we find ourselves – especiallly when we don’t understand why or how it’s happening.
I will continue to pray. Please rest as you are able.
