Happy Birthday Jesus!

Pic quote Isaiah 9 v 6

The prophet Isaiah prophesied the coming of Jesus some 700 years before Jesus was ever born.  Christmas is the worldwide celebration of His birth and He is worthy to be celebrated, honored, and glorified!  Jesus was no ordinary child.  Reading the above Scripture in Isaiah 9:6 makes that obvious.  God gave us His Son!  In John 3:16, Jesus says, “For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”  Jesus is the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace because Jesus is God in human flesh!  That is why we celebrate Jesus throughout the year.  He is why we have Christmas and He is also why we have Easter.  We celebrate His birth and the salvation He brought to mankind on Christmas.  We also celebrate Him for defeating sin and death when He died for us and we celebrate His glorious resurrection from the dead.  That’s called Easter.  Jesus is Lord and we celebrate Him!

Some people say Christians should not celebrate Christmas.  I say that is absolutely ridiculous!  Christmas is an awesome time to talk about Jesus and share the Gospel!  It is the biggest birthday celebration of the year!  We are talking about our Lord and Savior folks!  Yes, we should celebrate His birth!  Yes, we should be telling people about Him on Christmas and every day!  He is worthy to be praised because of what He did for us!

“She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

Matthew 1:21

Never in all of history was there ever another child that was born to save us from our sins!  Jesus is the only One who was born for that purpose.  If you believe in Jesus, then why would you not want to celebrate Him?

I have heard all kinds of ridiculous things about Christmas this year.  From muslims complaining about Christmas here in America to even from people who claim to believe in Jesus.  First off, we celebrate Christmas here in America and if you don’t like it, tough.  We are not muslims and Islam does not rule here and it never will.  If you don’t like it, then go back home to the land God gave your people through Ishmael.  America does not belong to you and it never will!  I will personally stand against the dark tide of Islam and as long as I have breath you will never take over my country.  Your sharia law will never rule here!  Your faith will never rule here!  Don’t ever come over here to our country acting like you have the right to tell us about our beliefs and culture and don’t ever assume you have some “right” from your false religion to attack us!  Killing people because they don’t submit to your false religion is not of God.  It is of satan!

In our sick twisted world where good is called evil and evil is called good, it is okay for everybody else to have their beliefs, except for Christians, right?  Wrong!  You can come here and live in freedom and peace, but the minute you start trying to attack, hurt, or slander our people because they are not muslim, you are no longer welcome.  Do you really think Islam is going to take over our country?  Give me a break!  There will be a great uprising of American Patriots who are just waiting to deal with you.

We are sick of your violence and your hatred!  You should have never come here in the first place!  That was all accomplished through the open borders Trojan horse of our last president and that time of darkness is over now and we are taking our country back, so wake up!  You are surrounded by millions of God’s people who were given this land hundreds of years ago!  The Bible says love always protects and believe me there are plenty of Christians that are willing to stand up and stop your tide of evil and death, all the way to our last breath.

You do not scare us.  You are not courageous and strong.   You preach death and hate.  You are cowards in your hatred!  You kill innocent people and you abuse women and children!  Your Islam is nothing compared to the power and glory of God Almighty in Jesus Christ, and I trust He will deal with your murderous hateful sin accordingly and sweep revival through our land.  You are not fighting us.  You are fighting God Himself and you are going to lose that fight real bad!  Jesus is not coming back to help you win the battle of Armageddon and that battle will not take place in Dabiq as you say.  Jesus is coming back to defeat evil once and for all, not to help evil people rule.  Those who stand against Jesus will be defeated in one mighty blow from the Lord!

“I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True.  With justice he judges and makes war.  His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns.  He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself.  He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.  The armies of  heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean.  Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations.  “He will rule them with an iron scepter.”  He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.  On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:

KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”

Revelation 19:11-16

We will celebrate Jesus and it doesn’t matter what you muslims say!  We are not like Europe.  We are Americans and we will stand up and fight back!  You would do well to remember that instead of continually poking the sleeping giant.  You will get what is coming to you soon enough, and I pray you repent before it is too late.  Your so called prophet did not die for your sins, Jesus did.  Jesus is Lord!  Christians, don’t ever be scared to stand up for Him!

“From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it.”

Jesus speaking in Matthew 11:12

Regarding ridiculous comments from Christians, some are mad about Christmas trees and talk about how it came from pagan roots.  Other Christians talk about how Christmas is not on His actual day of birth as He was not born in the winter months.  Yes, we know these things, and I also know God looks at our hearts!  We are celebrating Jesus Christ!  We are not worshiping a tree as an idol and we are not offending God by celebrating His birth on December 25th.  We give gifts to each other because the Magi gave gifts to Jesus and most importantly because of the gift of Jesus Himself.  If people want to be legalistic about it and you are a Christian that does not want to celebrate the birth of your Lord and Savior, then you go do that.  I am going to be celebrating Jesus big time and telling people Merry Christmas wherever I go!

The worst thing I have ever heard about Christmas is that celebrating it is like taking the Lord’s Name in vain.  Can you believe that nonsense?!  What?!  How do you figure celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ is taking His Name in vain?  I have no idea what kind of legalistic darkness would make somebody say something so hurtful, but I pray for anyone who holds views like that in their heart.  Be very careful how you judge others.  The same measure will be used to you.  I love Jesus Christ with all my heart and if you think I am taking the Lord’s Name in vain because I celebrate Christmas, then I rebuke your judgment and I challenge you to show me Scripture that says I should not celebrate my Lord and Savior.  You know what?  You can’t, because that is not in the Bible!  The whole Bible tells us to rejoice that Jesus has come, so I rejoice and I am glad!  There were even angels that showed up to celebrate His birth on His birthday!

“Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

“Glory to God in the

highest,

and on earth peace to men

on whom his favor

rests.”

Luke 2:13-14

“Rejoice in the Lord always.  I will say it again: Rejoice!”

Philippians 4:4

Christians who spout facts about the roots of Christmas and judge those who celebrate it have lost sight of the fact that Christmas is all about Jesus!  Of course we are supposed to celebrate Him!  Of course we put up lights to show He is the Light of the world!  Of course we put a star at the top of our trees to symbolize the star of Bethlehem!  Of course we give each other gifts to share the love and compassion of Jesus with each other!  Our family loves that Samaritan’s Purse does Operation Christmas Child.  Think about how many kids are ministered to and blessed on Christmas through that, and that is just one ministry of the Lord!

Christmas is the perfect opportunity to reach out and show love to people.  The warmth and joy of the season is Jesus!  Help somebody this year.  Give gifts, serve, share the Gospel, and just love people!  That is what Jesus did and we should follow His example not just at Christmas, but every day!

If you love Jesus Christ, don’t ever let muslims, legalistic Christians, or anybody else make you feel bad or judge you for celebrating Christmas.  Christmas is here to stay because Jesus is here to stay, and we will always celebrate Jesus no matter what people say!  Happy birthday Lord Jesus!  You deserve to be celebrated and I love You!

Grace and peace to you all and Merry Christmas!

  1. Amen, Ryan. At Christmas we celebrate Jesus and we celebrate with joy and love, and with all the trimmings!! Nobody can take away our joy to celebrate Jesus’ birth, at Christmas…I feel sorry for those who waste their time trying, and I pray for them.

  2. Heartfelt blog Ryan. You are pouring out your love for Jesus and the celebration of his birth. It’s hard to keep peace in your heart with all the distractions of social media. It seems every time Christmas comes around every idiot with an agenda has something to say about it. Yesterday it was the principal of a school who sent a letter to all her teachers banning all symbols of Christmas including the candy cane because it took the shape of a J for Jesus. Personally I always thought the J shape was a shepherds crook. The good news is, parents complained, and she was fired as principal and put on leave. So you are absolutely right, people have to speak out on their values, in a peaceful way, or these values and traditions will be trampled on. Have a wonderful Christmas Ryan. Enjoy the season.

  3. Hi it seems like every Christmas most Christians get on the Christmas is pagan talks and give those of us a hard time about it. I see Christmas as a time to share the Gospel with the lost and why can’t we all as Believers in Jesus Christ agree on the things we agree on and with and not the things we don’t agree on and with.

      1. Amen have we forgot Believers are not the enemy Satan is why is there so much fighting about Christmas I mean they say take Jeremiah 10 out of context when talking about Christmas trees. There are so many in ism religions like Mormonism Islam etc who need Jesus perfect time of the year to share the Gospel with them and hand out Gospel Tracts. Romans 14:1-11 and 1 Corinthians 9:19:23 should be used during Christmas time.

      2. Amen those Bible Verses are good. Blessings to you too and if you want to if you click on my username it will take you to my blog and you can read my testimony if you want to it’s up to you. For 363 days we as Believers in Jesus agree mostly on everything but two days a year Christmas and Easter we don’t there’s a disconnect there.

      4. Me either. The people I was dealing with told me I was committing blasphemy because I said “Merry Christmas.” I had never dealt with people like that before, so it was pretty nuts. Definitely eye opening to the kind of legalism that is out there.

      5. Yes I saw the comments that is no way to treat a member of the Body of Christ for them to say that way out of line the ironic thing is we all will give an account for what we said and did at the Bema Seat of Christ. When we act like that are we not acting like Satan? At some point you have to enough this is getting nowhere fast.

      7. Just like with the Rapture we all know it’s Pre Trib but other Believers don’t think so agree we going to let that divide us like Christmas and Easter no that’s what Satan wants.

      8. Ok I found it and read it was good. How can we say God bless America when the nation continues abortion and kill the unborn I believe the nation is under God’s judgement that said we can agree to disagree agreeably and that is fine.

      9. I hear you and I agree God will judge that grievous sin. That is why I wrote the piece, to call our country to repentance and stand up for righteousness. To turn to God and be blessed. I say God bless America because I am asking God to bless our country with revival and repentance. I want our country to lift up our heads and give glory to God. I agree brother, our country needs to repent and turn from sin. We are also called to love our country and I pray for our country with a heart full of love for her. I’m sure you do too.

  4. ” Hear the word that the Lord speaks to you, O house of Israel. Thus says the Lord: ‘Learn not the way of the nations, nor be dismayed at the signs of the heavens because the nations are dismayed at them, for the customs of the peoples are vanity. A tree from the forest is cut down and worked with an axe by the hands of a craftsman. They decorate it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so that it cannot move. Their idols are like scarecrows in a cucumber field, and they cannot speak; they have to be carried, for they cannot walk. Do not be afraid of them, for they cannot do evil, neither is it in them to do good.'” Jeremiah 10:1-5 ESV
” ‘For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed.'” Malachi 3:6 ESV

No, I don’t think you’ll go to hell for celebrating Christmas or saying Merry Christmas. No, I don’t think Christmas is taking Yehovah’s Name in vain (how the hell does someone come to such a conclusion?!). And I find the politically correct version of anti-Christmas very annoying.
But, it’s still a pagan festival. We are commanded NOT to adopt pagan practices. And the above verse in Jeremiah clearly describes Christmas – very negatively.

    1. I know the verses too brother. It is speaking of literal idols that people bowed down to and worshiped. People still like to use the Old Testament to point fingers and judge. We are under grace not under law. At one point someone tries to keep the law of Moses, they have to keep the whole thing, which is impossible. At one point someone breaks the law of Moses, they have broken the whole thing. Galatians 2:21 is very clear that we are made righteous through Jesus alone. I have never celebrated a pagan festival. I celebrate Jesus Christ and my Christmas tree has nothing to do with those verses. Of course we don’t worship idols. Christmas is about Jesus. I’m glad you don’t agree with those ladies who told me I was committing blasphemy by celebrating Christmas and saying “Merry Christmas.” If somebody wants to be legalistic and try to live the OT like a Pharisee, go for it. I will be worshiping Jesus in Spirit and in truth resting in His grace and forgiveness. Peace brother.

  5. Hi brother I agree we are not under the Law but Grace and the sisters in Christ who said what they said was wrong but we are all part of the Family of God we are not going to agree on everything secondary and that’s ok but we must focus on the primary issues the things that matter Christmas origins a secondary issue not a primary one. Can we who are Born Again Brothers and Sisters in focus more on the Gospel and the lost this month and less Christmas origins debates.
