Christian Thoughts On Halloween

Pic quote Eph 5 v 11 Rom 12

Good morning friends!  I read a great post titled “Halloween” by J-M’s History Corner today that I recommend checking out!  It is on the origins of Halloween and it goes perfectly with the post I did at the beginning of October titled “Why I Hate Halloween.”  If you would like to know the history of Halloween and why people still celebrate it, then please check out J-M’s post!  If you want to learn about the true story of a haunted house and how Jesus rescued me and my family from it, then please read my post!  Jesus is Lord and He has all authority over everything!

“Halloween” by J-M’s History Corner

Here is my post regarding Halloween and the terrifying supernatural reason that led me to hate Halloween:

Why I Hate Halloween

Demons are real folks and I recommend with all my heart that you not celebrate or mess with the evil celebration of Halloween!  Do not conform to the pattern of this world and do not have anything to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness!  The spiritual realm (Ephesians 6:12) is not a joke and you will learn that if you read my post.  Jesus Christ saved me and my family from very real evil and darkness and there is nothing funny or fun about evil darkness!

God bless you all today!  I will be praying over our country and the world and asking the Lord to protect people with His Holy angels and pour out His Holy Spirit on us all!  I pray the Lord spreads Holy revival throughout the world and casts out all evil from our lands!  Pray over your cities and neighborhoods on this day of evil!  Pour out your Holy Spirit Lord Jesus!  Thank You Jesus for delivering me and my family from the evil one!  Amen, Amen, and Amen!!!

“Be very careful, then, how you live–not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.”

Ephesians 5:15-16

I hate Halloween and we don’t celebrate it!  I am looking forward to Christmas and celebrating the birth of the Savior of the world–my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!  Halloween is full of darkness because it is a celebration of evil for the evil one.  Christmas is full of light and joy because Jesus Christ is the Light of the world!  Remember that!

“When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world.  Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

John 8:12

May the grace and peace of Jesus Christ be with you all!

  1. I agree with you, I read your post why I hate halloween…its scary. I don’t know exact tradition of Halloween. But these days I can see that this culture is coming from Western to eastern countries and people enjoy wearing scary clothes and makeup. First time I heard of this tradition when my little one was 2 and half years old.

    1. Yes, amen, it’s nothing to mess with! I rebuked that demon out of my parent’s house in the Name of Jesus Christ when I was only 18 in December of 1996 just before Christmas. I had just accepted Christ barely two months earlier, but I knew my authority by the power of the Holy Spirit and the Lord used me to do battle against evil. We never had any trouble after that. My whole family got saved because of it! I baptized my own mother in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit! That is my profile picture. We were at our church and that photo is me bringing my Mom up out of the water after baptizing her! God is so good!

I recommend reading J-M’s post about the origins of Halloween because the origins are steeped in evil. Eastern and all other countries would do well to stay away from it and run to Jesus instead! God bless you and your family!

  2. I hope Halloween one day will lose being a day celebrated. I know some schools don’t have it now, and children don’t go trick or treating as much in their neighborhoods. So many don’t really know what it means, and they should. I look forward to celebrating Christmas too. There is a reason there is a feeling of love for our fellow man, a shared kindness in the air during Christmas! One day, close to Easter, I was ansering questions that 4 year old Madelyn had of Jesus. She even asked me what color were his eyes. She told me she wished she could meet Jesus to give him a high five. After I explained why we celebrated Christmas and Easter, she exclaimed, “Whoa! Are you saying that our 2 biggest holidays are because of Jesus!!!” She gave me this big smile! So, I said, “yes, that’s what I am saying!” Jesus is the light of the world, and children deserve to learn the truth. God is love.
